Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for Telephone Triage in York

Are you an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a locum opportunity in telephone triage? Look no further! We are currently hiring locum ANPs to join our dynamic healthcare team in York.

Please note that this is not a remote role - you will be required to work onsite in York.

Rates: £40-£63 (Can start on a higher rate dependent on qualifications)

Job Description:

• Conduct telephone triage assessments for patients, assessing their symptoms and providing appropriate advice and guidance
• Utilize your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to make informed decisions regarding patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and timely patient management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all patient interactions
• Adhere to professional standards and guidelines for telephone triage

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or other Health professional bodies
• Relevant experience in telephone triage or a similar role
• Minor Illness and Injury qualification
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to make accurate and timely clinical decisions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
