Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Walk-In Centre

Location: Leeds

Job Type: Locum

Pay Rate:  £42 - £60 LTD (Please enquire for PAYE)

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join us to work in a Walk-In Centre in Leeds (two sites available). As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide advanced clinical assessments and diagnosis for patients attending the Walk-In Centre

- Independently manage and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses within your scope of practice

- Prescribe medication and refer patients for further investigations or specialist consultations as required

- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathetic approach in dealing with patients and their families

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records systems

Requirements:

- Valid NMC/HCPC Registration

-Hold Level 7 Minor Injury and Minor Illness

-Must be a Prescriber

-See and treat all patient groups

- Proven experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or Walk-In Centre setting

- SystmOne experience, with a valid Smart Card
