Are you an experienced and compassionate leader in the health and social care sector? This is your opportunity to lead a well-established, specialist neurorehabilitation service based in Horsham and make a genuine impact on people’s lives.

We’re working on behalf of a respected provider to recruit a Service Manager for a residential setting that supports adults with acquired brain injuries. Set in peaceful surroundings just outside Broadbridge Heath, this service offers a unique therapeutic environment where a collaborative clinical team helps residents regain skills, independence, and quality of life.

This is your chance to lead a dedicated team, deliver excellent care, and shape the future of a progressive and purpose-driven service.

The Role:

As Service Manager, you’ll take the lead in all areas of service delivery – from operational management and staffing to care quality, compliance, and business development.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a passionate multi-disciplinary team including rehab support workers, occupational therapists, physios, psychologists, and speech and language therapists
  • Ensuring a high standard of person-centred, neurorehabilitation care is maintained
  • Supporting team members through effective leadership, performance management, and development
  • Overseeing financial performance, staffing structures, and strategic planning
  • Promoting the service to external stakeholders, commissioners, and referrers
  • Driving continuous service improvement and planned growth

You’ll play a key role in supporting residents to achieve personal milestones and access the wider community in a safe and supported way.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • QCF/NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or similar role in a high-quality care setting
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and person-centred care principles
  • Budget management and operational oversight experience
  • A genuine commitment to promoting independence and improving lives

This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to bring their vision and expertise to a service that truly values progress, compassion, and innovation.

What’s On Offer:

  • Salary up to £49,440 per annum + £1/hour location allowance
  • 38 days annual leave, including bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell up to 5 days annual leave
  • Health Cash Plan & Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Group life assurance & eye care voucher scheme
  • Free on-site parking
  • Company pension
  • Long service awards & staff recognition
  • Excellent training & development – your growth is supported every step of the way

At this service, employee wellbeing is just as important as service user outcomes. You'll join a team that values integrity, support, and the power of collaboration – where your leadership can make a lasting impact.
