What You’ll Do
- Lead and Inspire: Manage occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary team using the BIRT Neurobehavioral model.
- Transform Care: Develop, assess, and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with service users, their families, and other professionals to deliver holistic care, from daily living to leisure activities.
- Mentor: Provide guidance to rehabilitation support workers, overseeing task delegation, monitoring, and care plan evaluations.
- Champion Quality: Conduct risk assessments, maintain professional documentation in line with RCOT standards, and contribute to clinical governance and service innovation.
- Lead by Example: Use your leadership skills to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and driven leader with:
- Qualifications: Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience: Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously while guiding a team of professionals.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
- Innovation: Proactive in professional development and eager to drive service enhancements and innovative approaches to care.
