You’ll be part of a vibrant multidisciplinary team including psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and rehabilitation support workers.

The Role:

As Senior Specialist Physiotherapist, you’ll be a clinical leader within the team – driving high standards of care, contributing to service development, and delivering expert assessments and interventions across the service’s three core rehabilitation pathways: Neurobehavioral, Neurorestorative, and Well-being.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading complex case discussions and problem-solving within the multidisciplinary team
  • Delivering physiotherapy informed by the latest research and clinical guidelines
  • Providing supervision and mentorship to students, assistants, and fellow physiotherapists
  • Leading on a specialist interest area in agreement with the clinical lead
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, families, and external professionals
  • Championing the neurobehavioral model and contributing to the overall clinical leadership of the service

About You:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, skilled clinician with a solid background in neurological rehabilitation who is confident working independently and leading within a team.

You’ll need:

  • A Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registration
  • Minimum 4 years post-registration experience (with at least 2 in neurorehabilitation or a related field)
  • Specialist knowledge and application of neurophysiotherapy principles
  • Experience of assessing and treating complex cases within acquired brain injury services
  • A Practice Placement qualification (or willingness to complete one)
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service users in unit vehicles
  • Flexibility to travel and stay overnight where necessary

What’s in it for you?

This is a role where you’ll feel supported, trusted, and encouraged to grow – with access to strong peer networks, training, and career development opportunities.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Salary between £46,148 – £52,809 FTE (DOE, pro rata)
  • 38 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) (pro rata)
  • Option to buy or sell up to 5 days of annual leave
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Group life assurance
  • CPD support and professional development funding
  • Eye care vouchers
  • Free parking
  • Long service and recognition awards
