We are currently recruiting for experienced nurses to join a state-of-the-art neurorehabilitation centre in York, providing high-quality care to individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries and related conditions.
We have two roles available:
- Senior Staff Nurse – Neurorehabilitation (Full-time)
- Staff Nurse (NIGHTS) – Neurorehabilitation (Full-time, 7 x 12-hour shifts every two weeks)
About the Facility:
The purpose-built, 40-bed independent hospital provides neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation for people with brain injuries, along with mental health and physical conditions. As part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of service users, ensuring they receive the best care possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care to individuals with acquired brain injuries.
- Senior Staff Nurse: Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high clinical standards.
- Staff Nurse (NIGHTS): Provide direct care and contribute to the smooth running of the service during night shifts.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in evidence-based service improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, including safeguarding, risk management, and medication administration.

About You:
We’re looking for nurses who:
- Hold current NMC registration (RMNH/RNLD/RGN).
- Have experience in neurobehavioral care or similar fields (desirable).
- Are passionate about providing high-quality, personalised care.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Senior Staff Nurse: Experience in leadership and team management is highly desirable.
