Merco Medical Staffing are looking for experienced and dedicated Paramedic Practitioners to join our established Client in South East London.
Description of your Role:
You will be supporting the GP Home Visiting Service, NHS@Home (Virtual Ward) service and Clinical Streaming at University Hospital Lewisham Emergency Department.
The Paramedic Practitioner will be responsible for triaging patients, performing investigative procedures when required and sign-posting patients to the appropriate community service. You will bring your clinical assessment skills, ability to diagnose and treat patients, as well as your enthusiasm to the role.
Requirements:
- Be flexible, respectful and compassionate with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team;
- Have the desire to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions;
- Be passionate about providing access to care for patients;
- Aspire to improve long term care for house bound patients with chronic conditions;
- Have at least 5 years' experience post HCPC registration
- FCP qualified or willing to work towards
Working hours:
- Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00
- Mon – Wed 9:00-20:00 (streaming)
- Sat & Sun 13:00-17:00
