Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse - Nights to join a well-established care home in Edwinstowe, Mansfield. The home provides high-quality personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents and offers a warm and homely environment, with various garden areas to enjoy. This role involves working alongside the Home Manager, Clinical Lead, and other trained nurses to deliver exceptional care, with a strong emphasis on promoting independence, dignity, and choice for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Home Manager and Clinical Lead to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents, ensuring the highest standards of care are always delivered.
- Administer medication and keep accurate records.
- Support carers in providing personal care and daily activities such as washing, dressing, and eating.
- Lead care teams, ensuring care plans are regularly updated and action plans are completed.
- Ensure safety and well-being, including preventing pressure sores, weight issues, and falls.
Essential Requirements:
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., RGN, RMN, RNLD).
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a residential/nursing home, including dementia care.
- Awareness of Person-Centred Care and adult safeguarding.
- Full driving licence and ability to commute within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in supervising team members.
- Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care.
