This role is home-based, with occasional visits required in your local assessment centre.  All full and part time roles now include a flexible self-led schedule following a 6-week working pattern based on your preferences, in agreement with your line manager.
 
As a Nurse Assessor you will:
  • Use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct paper-based reviews of claims, independent health assessments and to write reports for the DWP.
  • You will be using your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your clinical experience, skills & knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified, and professional.
  • Use your Clinical nursing expertise in a new way whilst enjoying a great work-life balance with excellent benefits
Requirements:
  • At least one year’s post NMC registration Nursing experience working with people aged 16 to 64.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a competent user of IT.
