Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our team, providing comprehensive care that helps our patients thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating the implementation of personalized treatment plans, ensuring activities and interventions are delivered effectively.
- Promptly responding to referrals and conducting patient assessments to identify and prioritize needs, delivering tailored interventions individually or in group settings.
- Leading and managing junior staff, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, ensuring clinical practices align with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Contributing to business growth by actively promoting therapy services in line with the local business plan.
- Maintaining clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, carers, and other stakeholders throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Leading the implementation of new services at your site and sharing best practices across locations.
- Ensuring the services provided offer excellent value for money while supporting the site’s overall objectives.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Relevant experience in your field, particularly within specialized areas.
