Meet the Team!
Tash Pieters has been at Merco since 2012, wearing many hats and fulfilling many roles in the business including compliance, resourcing and client relationships, and now heads up our Candidate Care Team.
Joining Tash on the Candidate Care Team are our Compliance and Accounts experts: Michelle and Dionysia.
Rest assured that Tash and the team are on standby to help with anything else that may pop up along the way, adding an extra layer of support during your time with Merco.

There are various resources in addition to our internal teams, to help you deal with any challenging, emotional issues you may face, whether work related or personal.
For example did you know that as an RCN member you can get free confidential support and counselling?
We have put together a collection of resources to lean on if you need them, from NHS England toolkits through to Consultations in Crisis services offering support sessions to NHS and Social Care staff from the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
Peer-To-Peer support
Founded in 2019, the listening service is a free, confidential UK wide support line providing healthcare professionals the space to offload and talk to someone who ‘just gets it’. All volunteers are Nurses or other healthcare professionals, trained in support skills.

If you are RCN registered and are facing personal problems such as stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship breakdown, domestic violence, or low self-esteem - RCN counselling provides brief therapy over the phone with experienced, highly qualified, and accredited counsellors from diverse backgrounds. MIND
Working with our charity partners Mind over the past 2 years has given us great insight to this invaluable avenue of support for mental health concerns. As well as spanning topics such as abuse, bereavement, housing and learning disabilities, Mind also provide support for people working and volunteering in the emergency services called Blue Light Together which can be accessed here
The British Psychoanalytical Society offers opportunities for reflective practice to NHS and Social Care staff, as well as support professional or personal matters. You can contact them via an online form here
NHS Practitioner Health Connect
A confidential service for GPs in England that can help with issues relating to mental health, including stress or depression. The service will also provide support to returning retired doctors and medical students working in clinical practice.
NHS England has launched a new coaching service to help support GPs and their teams through the COVID-19 outbreak. The service, which has been developed with stakeholders including the RCGP, is available to any member of staff involved with delivering a primary care contract.
